# Units

Units are the main operational currency.\
You use them for almost every action on the map.

#### **How to earn**

* **Territory income**\
  Captured territories steadily generate Units over time.
* **Special buildings**\
  Some buildings boost Unit production and help you scale faster.
* **Shop**\
  You can convert A-Units into Units via boosters, piggy banks, and other offers.

#### **How to use**

* **Capturing territories**\
  Taking new territories costs Units, and the price rises as your empire grows.
* **Buildings & upgrades**\
  Constructing and upgrading buildings also consumes Units, especially at higher levels.

#### **Tips**

* **First captures are free**\
  Your first three territories don’t cost Units – use them to secure a strong starting position.
* **Keep a buffer**\
  Don’t spend down to zero. Balancing expansion and upgrades is key to staying competitive.
